I fell in love with Pilates 15 years ago when as the working mother of 3 children, I was looking for an effective way to rejuvenate the strength and length of my muscles. I have tried a number of Nashville studios and have had absolutely the best experience at Simply Balanced. I have been a studio client for the last 10 years. I love that their classes are challenging and a full body work-out. If you take an Intermediate or Advanced class you are generally also going to get some aerobic intervals through the pace of the class and the intensity of the movements.
The instructors are top notch and add a lot of variety in the classes. I am a regular for multiple classes a week and honestly don’t think I have ever been to two classes that were the same. The variety ensures that I am working every muscle at regular intervals. I also really enjoy the environment at the studio. The instructors are well trained, very interactive with clients, positive, enthusiastic and fun. I love being there and would recommend it to anyone who loves pilates or who hasn’t tried it yet…you will!
As a person that has been involved in physical fitness all my life, as I got older I was searching for alternatives to the traditional weight training in gyms. Core and flexibility were specific areas I was targeting. I tried
Yoga, Spinning, boxing, martial arts, but in my opinion none of these options addressed my needs. I started Pilates several years ago when I was living out of State and when I moved to Nashville searched for a Pilates studio near my residence in the Gulch.
After my first visit I knew that this would be my studio. I work out 5 days a week at Simply Balanced. The staff is very knowledgeable and genuinely fun to be around. Pilates has virtually transformed my body and mind. Frequently people guess my age as a dozen years less than I actually am.Over the years the staff has become like family. I look forward to the workouts every morning and we always have a few laughs along the way. I highly recommend Simply Balanced studio.

I appreciate the culture created at the studio, which evidences itself on those rare occasions my personal coach is unavailable.
